How to do video marketing?
Hi! Today I am going to tell you about how to do video marketing so that you can get more views for your videos and get more subscribers to your YouTube channel. This will help your brand or business to grow organically.
Videos are very powerful because they can portray emotion, have a human face and hence we can build trust and credibility. Now the question is what type of video content can you create? You must create original, quality content which is soft sell and which adds value to your target audience.
Various types of videos which do well in terms of video marketing are listed below:

- Interviews with experts
- Behind the scenes videos
- How to Videos
- Influencer videos
- Demonstration videos
- Brand Explainer videos
- Expert review videos

So, the first step is to create videos that are relevant for your product. Make videos that contain information customers are looking for.
Once you have created videos, the next step is to make the content discoverable. Do you know that YouTube is also a search engine? Infact it is the second largest search engine in the world after Google. So you must also do SEO for YouTube.
Number one point in SEO is Keywords. You must identify keywords having high search volume volume from from tools such as keyword planner in Google ads or Ubersuggest. You can also type these keywords in Youtube and get the top videos and do right click and view page source to identify the keywords that these top videos have targeted.
Once you have identified keywords now you must make title for your video and include keywords in your title. You can use a tool headline analyser by co-schedule. It will give a score out of 100 to your title. You can target titles having a score above 70. Include Power and Emotion words in your headline. Power words are like Growth, guaranteed, boost sales; whereas emotion words are such as fascinating, latest, Remarkably, Incredible.
After writing title you must write description which should also include your keywords. Best practice is to transcribe your video because transcribing will lead to more text content and hence leads to higher probability of being discovered.
Give your website link in the first paragraph for more clicks. To make your description more useful give resource links in your description. Also give links to your other social media channels so that users can follow you on other channels too.
Next you must make attractive thumbnails. Incorporate brand colours so that you have consistent look and feel of your videos.
Organise videos in playlist so that internal linking happens and YouTube automatically recommends other videos as the popularity of your videos grows.
7. Cards & End Screen
One major challenge of videos is that people do not click and call to action is weaker. To overcome this add Cards and End screen to your videos so people can click on the links and go to your website or watch related videos of your playlist.
To increase views of your videos encourage comments from viewers and reply to each comment.
9. Watch Time
Another important point is watch time. The longer the watch time the better will be the discoverability of your videos in YouTube. Hence you may consider creating good quality long videos.
10. Local Langauge Content
Do you know that Tamil has the highest number of YouTube users in India followed by Hindi and then English. You may consider creating content in local vernacular languages because the next growth driver will be local languages which have paucity of content.
11. Co-create Content
Another way to get more views it is to co create content. You can do an interview of an expert and request them to share the content on their social media channels so that it reaches their audience.
